"It's a girl (maybe)!"

My wife, Jennifer, is 13 weeks pregnant and had a special "high risk" sonogram today. She is considered high risk because she is older than the average female carrying a baby. We found out today that the baby is healthy. PRAISE GOD! Also, the doctor is 95% sure that our baby is a girl. It's difficult for the doctor to be 100% definitive, because the baby is only 3 inches long and weighs only 3 ounces. It was so cool seeing those tiny hands and feet. Pregnancy and child birth are truly miracles of God and one of the greatest arguments for HIS existence.
Well, I'm no doctor or anything but I saw about 45 minutes of sonogram footage, and I didn't see anything that would lead me to believe that the baby is a boy. So, we are feeling pretty strongly that "It's a girl (maybe)!"
Right now, we are calling her, Jessica (Jessie). If you would like to suggest any girl names that start with the letter "J", please send them my way. If she was a he, I was thinking about calling him, Jose. Jose Howes just has a certain ring to it. The news of a baby girl has sent the female population of our family into a major state of jubilation, especially one cute, little blond-headed girl that has been praying for 2 years for a little sister. It is overwhelming to think of having another daughter who is as sweet and loving as Julia. I truly am a blessed man. Please continue to pray for a healthy mom and baby.
