Daily Bible Reading Update

This week I am wading through Deuteronomy. Last week, I read Galatians. I really enjoyed Galatians. In fact, my Easter sermon almost came out of Galatians. Galatians is about God's grace, His amazing grace. Paul wrote the book to the churches in the province of Galatia to remind them that we are not justified by observing the law but by placing our faith in Jesus Christ.

The central passage is Galatians 2:20-21

"I have been crucified with Christ and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me. The life I live in the body, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me. I do not set aside the grace of God, for if righteousness could be gained through the law, Christ died for nothing!"

Thank God today for his atoning sacrifice on the cross and his amazing grace!
