Sunday Highlights

We had a big day at Graystone kicking off the PHOBIA Series. A few highlights:
- 530 people were in attendance.
- 65-70 folks raised their hands indicating that they were trusting Christ for salvation in Heaven.
- The band nailed the Evanescence song, "Bring Me to Life".
- The entrance of the pearl white casket to "Hells Bells" with the quotes about death.
- Faking out the 11:00 AM service that I was speaking from inside the casket.
- PHOBIA gobo lights with the red background on the walls.
- Good crowd at the 5:00 PM Service (Approx. 70 folks). We are working hard to get this new service going. It is a lot like starting a new church.
- My toddler story of me and my bro peeing in the dirt to make mud pies.
- The leftover food from the baby shower. Cake icing on top of strawberries is REALLY good.

PHOBIA continues next Sunday...Overcoming the Fear of a Meaningless Life. It is also Jersey Day! Invite everyone you know, especially your ball team. Be ready for a high energy Sunday and possibly a surprise or two.

One more thought: Chipper is on fire batting .458 and 18 of his last 30. I hope he is not out long. It is nice to see the Braves back to .500.

Let's not overlook Tex breaking out of his slump. Three for four with a dinger.
