The Martians are here!

Last night around dark, 3 men in ties showed up on my doorstep. They were elders from The Church of the Ladder Day Saints (a.k.a. Mormons). Of course, I shared the good news of salvation through Jesus Christ ALONE. These guys have some strange beliefs and obviously have been brainwashed (The young ones where from Utah.). Part of the strategy of the Mormon Church is to go where God is working and try to lure the overflow into their camp. I was cordial with them but aggressively told them that I did not believe the Book of Mormon and that they need to seek the truth through God's word, the Bible. I pray that they will not confuse any of the spiritually hungry in my neighborhood or our community.

As I was talking with the men in suits, Jennifer asked Julia who was at the door. And Julia told Jennifer, "The Martians are here!".

PS We are earnestly praying that Jessie will come into the world this weekend. Jennifer was having contractions last night about 11 minutes apart, but we don't think they were "true contractions". We do think the "false contractions" are preparing her body for the real thing. Please pray with us for a healthy mom and baby. I will keep you posted.
