Update on Matt

Thank you so much for your prayers for Matt and his family. I am now on the email update list and will use my blog to keep you informed. It gives me great encouragement to know that thousands of people around the world are praying for Matt and his family. Personally, I want to thank you for praying for me. I am doing much better emotionally and spiritually and have been encouraged by the emails and Scriptures verses. I can feel your prayers.

Email Update:

- Matt's vital signs are good! PRAISE!
- Today was as calm as the day could be! PRAISE!
- Kelly's mom and sister were sharing Jesus with a woman in the waiting room. Pray for this woman!
- Kelly's uncle is amazed by the outpouring of love and support...he leaves on Monday.
- Matt is responding to pain. When they prick his finger for a blood sugar test...he tries to pull away. He is also responding to his dad's voice...his brain pressure goes up...not such a good thing...but it is encouraging to see him responding in any way.
- The kids are doing well.
- Kelly was able to see Matt often...so were the kids. When Matthew arrived at the hospital late this afternoon, he asked me if his dad was awake yet. I would LOVE for Matthew and all of us to see a miracle. After Matthew and Logan went in to see Matt...Matthew said, "He looks good." He really looks good for someone who has gone through all he has.

- Pray for Kelly to be able to sleep tonight....and her mother...and her mother-in-law...and selfishly...me...:0)
- Pray for healing...of course! Matt is still hour to hour...that is HUGE considering yesterday he was minute to minute!
- Pray for Matt's uncle, Rich Fao, to come to know the Lord!....and the woman in the waiting room!
- Pray that Matt's body will continue to respond well to treatment.
- Matt's nurse tonight is a bit on the strict side. Please pray that she will be sensitive to the needs of Kelly and the family.
