Quick Hits

Jesslyn Kay turned 10 days old today. She spends ALL of her time eating and sleeping.

Julia finished her Pee Wee Softball career on Saturday. She had fun with All Stars and was a great little lead off batter. She is hanging up her cleats until next Spring. My favorite part about Julia playing softball is the amount of time that we get to spend together.

Jennifer is losing a pound a day.

I am gaining a pound a day. I have not been to the gym since Jesslyn was born, and our church family is bringing meals every other day. Tonight, Laura Gosa brought over her famous ribs along with homemade mac and cheese, deviled eggs, baked beans, and cheesecake with strawberries on top. It was a small taste of heaven!

Matt continues to heal.

Joelan is practicing his guitar daily and is starting to get into tennis.

I'm pulling emphatically for the Georgia Bulldogs to win the college world series. They just won game one. Beckham is clutch. Fields is nasty.

I'm hoping to take the kids to a Braves Game soon.

I'm really looking forward to speaking at Graystone on Sunday. It should be a BIG Sunday with the return of the DR Team and the baptism celebration.

I've decided tonight that I am quiting golf. It takes too much time. It costs too much money. And I basically stink at all aspects of the game.
