What Is Your One Prayer?

This past Sunday, we kicked off the One Prayer series at Graystone Church along with over 1300 other churches around the world. (That's kind of a neat thought to think that close to 1,000,000 believers are on the same page for at least one Sunday.) I thought Craig Greoschel did an incredible job explaining One Prayer and challenging us as the body of Christ to unify for the cause of Christ. Everyone seemed to really like Craig, but as far as I know, I still have a job as the Lead Pastor of Graystone Church. Although, I just received an email about an elder meeting on Thursday. (Oh, never mind, I just remembered that I am the one who scheduled the meeting. It has been a long week, and it's not even Wednesday.)

The One Prayer series revolves around this question: if God would answer one prayer for the church-at-large, what would you pray?

So, what is your one prayer? If you could pray one prayer for the church-at-large, what would you pray? I would love to hear your answers in the comments section of this blog/post.

Good night!

Johnny

PS Jesslyn is stubbornly staying in the womb. I think I would like it in there myself...comfort, sleep, no worries.

Dear Johnny (per your signature)
My one prayer -- so hard to decide on just one. But the one I pray for myself is "Lord, don't let me be a lukewarm mediocre Christian." If we all could boldly step forward and show our faith and not be uneasy about sharing it with the world, what changes would happen and many souls would be harvested.

The Ayers family is/would pray for 1)the finances for the new building to bring the community of Grayson to Christ. My role as coach and Shannon's as team Mom is to invite each and every girl and their families to church. We try our best to convey the values of Christ, and the Graystone "way" of worshipping Him. 2) Kelsi has set a personal goal of bringing 1000 kids to Christ! I know it sounds crazy, but she invites evryone she meets to spend the night and go to church. God blessed us with an incredible child!
