I had a great lunch (not necessarily the food, although the Black and Blue Salad at O'Charley's is pretty good) yesterday with a good friend from the ball field. The lunch was great because we moved past surface sports talk and went deeper personally and spiritually. We are like-minded in ministry, and I think will have a true iron sharpening iron relationship. My friend shared with me his 3 minute testimony of how God changed his life which included his life verse: Proverbs 3:5-6.
Have you written out your 3 minute testimony? Do you have it memorized so that you could share it over lunch with a friend? The most powerful way we can share with others about the love of Jesus Christ is through telling our story. I want to encourage you this week to sit down with a friend and share with him/her your testimony. Also, what is your life verse? Mine is Philippians 1:21-22. It is good to include one Bible verse in your testimony that accentuates your story.
To live is Christ,
Johnny
PS Someone (and I won't mention any names) told me that my blog reminded them of Rev Run from Run's House. I watched this show last night, and I'm not too sure what Run's House and Johnny's House have in common other than the Rev part. You can watch Run's House 4 Preview video below and decide for yourself.

Who ever that someone is is nuts! In what way does your blogs resemble Run's House? Either I'm too old or I just don't get it. I so enjoy your blogs and try to read them everynight. It gives me a good insight into the real person my "minister" is. Your blogs and so funny and real life and the pictures are great. Your friends favorite bible verse is also mine. Proverbs 3:5-6 is pasted on my refrig, my makeup mirror and at my office. When I want a dose of reality, I turn to Luke 12:5 "But I will show you whom you should fear; fear Him, who after the killing of your body, has the power to throw you into Hell!" Works for me everytime. Keep up the good work, you are a good shepherd to our flock. I'm in prayer for your message on Sunday and for everyone to have an open heart and mind to receive God's message through your words. Your old ewe - Kathy Bohn
