Our family had a great time celebrating the 4th with Graystone's twentysomethings. Thanks Josh for opening your house to us. BTW, Joelan and I dominated in cornhole.
Saturday night, we grilled out at a neighborhood block party. I enjoyed hanging out with old friends, meeting new ones, and a little friendly competition of bocce ball.
It was great to have Kyle and the band (not their official name) back at graystone leading worship. I'm excited about our new sermon series, Just Do It, as we study through the book of James.
42 students and volunteers headed off to Look Up Lodge for Youth Camp. Please pray for a life-changing week. Also, pray for Dustin. Before the bus left this morning, I stepped on board and challenged the students to pull a big prank on Dustin. I also requested pictures.
Jim did a tremendous job speaking at his grandfather's funeral. Please continue to pray for James Camp's family. He will be greatly missed but is in heaven with Jesus, free of sickness, shooting doves with his hunting buddies, and playing a little baseball.
The Braves win in 17 innings. Chipper and McCann are headed to the All Star Game at Yankee Stadium.
Nadal beating Federer 9-7 in the 5th set of Wimbledon is the greatest tennis match that I have even seen. Praise God for DVR.
Matt continues to make progress at the Shepherd Center. I cannot wait to visit with him this week. Please continue to pray for a miraculous recovery.
