Friday Night Lights

Tonight, Raceboat Steve and I took the boys to Mill Creek for the Falcons Friday Night Lights. It was great. They had frisbee catching canines, sky divers, t-shirt launchers and fireworks. Everything was free (parking, admission, programs and facepaint). It was fun to sit at the 50 yard line (three rows up) at a high school stadium and watch the Big Boys at full contact.

After the game, the Atlanta Falcons Players signed autographs. I was being the Superdad and aggressively getting signatures (12-15) for the boys. As Roddy White was signing Joelan's football, I told him that he cost me my fantasy football championship. (Last season in the Graystone Fantasy Football League (GFFL), Roddy caught a meaningless 40 yard "hail mary" pass at the end of the half to propel the Gray Hairs to a 2 point victory over the Mighty MS Mullets.) He looked up and gave me a huge smile. I told him that this year I was going to get him on my team. He simply nodded in affirmation. Joe Horn pocketed my sharpie.
