God's Bill

Joe said several things yesterday that have me praying and planning concerning finances both for me personally and for Graystone Church. One of Joe's statements was, "If its God's will, its God's bill." I cannot seem to get that quote out of my head. If God has called us to do something either individually or collectively as a church, He will provide the resources to make it happen. He simply wants us to do our part, step out in faith, and trust Him to do His part.

Of course, the 18 acres and the 23,000 square foot multi-purpose building are at the forefront of my mind. "If its God's will, its God's bill." I have a peace in my heart that surpasses all understanding that our Master Plan on Ozora Road is God's will. So, I have to trust that it is God's bill. I was a finance major in college, so I am cursed with always trying to figure out the math. With God, sometimes we cannot figure out the math. There is the God factor. I guess I need to quit trying to figure it out and TRUST GOD. I need to let God be God and Johnny be Johnny.

I have a sneaky suspicious (call it a gut feeling or women's intuition...but I'm not a woman..far from it...I am definitely a man who sometimes does stupid things...like taking a paint ball to the gut at point blank range with zero protection...and I have the wound to prove it...anyway, where was I?) that God is about to do something really BIG and blow us all away.

EGTFG...AGTFG! (Expecting Great Things From God....Attempting Great Things For God)
Johnny
