Sunday Reflection

I loved Hymn Sunday and singing some of my favorite songs. I loved the acoustic set with the black curtains, candles and crosses. It was nice to see Candace using her God-given gifts and abilities. I haven't heard much feedback from Hymn Sunday, but everyone seemed to enjoy it. Kyle and the band sounded great.

It was hard for me to preach a 7 point sermon in 25 minutes. I thought the content was good, but it was way too much to cover in that time frame. I will post my notes later today. I received mostly negative comments about my sports coat. I guess others were uncomfortable with me dressing nicer than them.

Some of you know that I had a heavy heart yesterday morning, because Joelan was in the emergency room with a stomach virus. He was able to get the proper fluids and medicine he needed. He came home Sunday afternoon and is doing much better. He stayed home from school today and hopefully will regain his strength. Thanks for your prayers.

We had a good visit with my parents. They are heading home today.

Please keep praying for Matt Harvie. Here is the latest report . He is still at Gwinnett Medical.

I'm really looking forward to our new message series, "God is good!" beginning this Sunday.
