Critque of My Message

The strongest critic of my sermons every week is Jennifer, my wife. Well, there may be stronger critics out there, but Jennifer is the one who has my ear, if you know what I mean. Anyway, she had two critiques about my message yesterday:

#1 I am a terrible singer, and I should never sing in public (I sang a beautiful rendition of "His Eye Is On The Sparrow" in the 11 AM service.).

#2 I should have told everyone to be sure and VOTE.

So, in regards to #1, I will keep singing in my messages as the Spirit leads. I know that I am a terrible singer. That is what makes it so funny. At least, I think it is funny.

And #2, VOTE. Our trust is in God and not the next President of the United States. But we still need to be responsible citizens (and Christians) and VOTE. If you do not VOTE in the upcoming election, you are basically LAME. And I am not going to tell you who to VOTE for. I will let God do that!

God is good!
Johnny

PS Jennifer did agree that Jessie is the most beautiful baby in the world!
