"God is good!" Message

This Sunday, October 19, is our 4 year anniversary at Graystone. I will be preaching my "God is good!" sermon. This message has been brewing in my heart for several months, and I have saved it for this special day.

Listen, I know that all of us are going through difficult economic times. Many people are losing their jobs or taking cuts in pay. There is tremendous uncertainty in the upcoming election and the future of our nation and world. Well, if we focus on our circumstances, we will find ourselves living in "doom and gloom". God is so much bigger than our circumstances. We need to learn to gaze at God and glance at our circumstances. Our faith is not based on our circumstances (good or bad) but on who God is.

This Sunday, I will be preaching a powerful message on the names and character of God, and we will respond with a sweet, creative time of worship. The music is going to be off the charts. This will be one of those Sundays at Graystone that we will never forget.
