It's Finally Over

Well, for what it's worth, I'm glad the election is FINALLY over. Like most Americans over the last several months I have been bombarded with emails, TV ads, and EVERYONE'S personal opinion about the election. I have been STRONGLY encouraged to say something from the "pulpit", and I have been STRONGLY encouraged not to say something from the "pulpit". (BTW, if you do not know what a pulpit is, then don't worry about it, because we do not have one at Graystone. Or, at least, I don't know about it.)

Anyway, let me STRONGLY say this...

God is sovereign.
He is the one who appoints leaders.
We need to pray from our leaders.
Our hope is not in the President, a political party or the GOVT.
Our hope is in Jesus Christ.
God's hope lives in us.
God's plan to CHANGE THE WORLD is through his people, the church.

Let's allow God to change us, so we can change to world!
(In other words... Let's DOMINATE our community with the love of Jesus Christ!)
