As I was walking out of Bodyplex today (gym bag and pink diaper bag in my left hand and Jessie in her infant carrier in my right hand) a guy opened the door for me. I had seen him at the gym before, but we had never spoken. He said, "I think we are going to come check out Graystone on Sunday." Of course, I said something like, "Come on, now. We would love to have you". In all 4 of my visits to Bodyplex this week (new record), someone I did not know has come up and talked with me about Graystone. Of course, this is great, because it has created several opportunities for me to share the good news of Jesus Christ.
But it has also made me acutely aware that someone is always watching me. This can be a good thing, because it helps keep me in line (accountable). But sometimes I feel like my life is being lived in a fishbowl. I recently read this post by Craig Groeschel, and he gives good insights into SOME of the expectations placed on pastors. If you would like to know better how to pray for me and my family, please read Craig's post, Life in a Fishbowl, so you can be aware of some of the challenges that we face.
