Pray for President Obama

Today is a historic event in the United States as we inaugurate our first African American President. I do not agree with all of President Obama's beliefs and policies, but I do believe that it is good for our nation to have an African American President. I will be praying for President Obama and truly hope that his administration will be bring safety and prosperity to the United States.

I also believe that George W. Bush was a great president. Our world is a safer and better place because of his leadership. Let's continue to pray for our country and our leaders.

I couldn't agree more! I'll definitely be praying for President Obama as I lean on Psalms 109:8 for guidance in just how to do that.

I agree with your outlook.

I invite you to read Thoughts of Water on the Eve of Obama’s Inauguration for reflections by one who grew up White in racially segregated Texas.
