How specific are your prayers? Do you pray vague prayers? For example, "God bless this and God bless that." "God, be with so and so." Or do you pray specific prayers where God can give a specific answer?
I emailed a friend this morning and asked about his wife's upcoming surgery. He emailed back and said that his insurance would not cover it and it would cost $5,000-$10,000. I specifically prayed that God would provide 100% for the surgery. And you know what, several hours later, God answered our prayers (my whole small group has been praying as well). God provided a way for her to have the surgery with zero out of pocket costs. PRAISE GOD! He answers prayers. He answers specific prayers. He answers group prayers.
I'm really not sure why I do not prayer more than I do. We do not have because we do not ask. What do you need to pray about RIGHT NOW?
