It's been a hectic Monday, so I am finally getting to the blog. With all the rain, I thought God might be telling us to build an ark instead of the new building, but He quickly reminded me of His promise symbolized by the rainbow. Anyway, I really enjoyed Graystone's service yesterday, especially since I was not preaching. I think this was the first Sunday that I have not preached in 2009.
The worship set with great. You can read Kyle's synopsis here. I thought Dustin did a tremendous job with his sermon. You can watch it here. I was especially encouraged by the student testimonies. And I loved how Dustin pointed out through the story of David and Goliath that the youth have a vital roll to play as we DOMINATE our community for Christ.
I almost started preaching at the end of the service, but I decided to quickly cut it off and save it for this Sunday. I am looking forward to getting back in the saddle and speaking some Biblical truth into our current state of world affairs. Here is the promo video for the upcoming new message series, In His Hands:
