Great service yesterday! Here are a few of my highlights:
145 people have been baptized at Graystone...SO FAR!
Dozens of people (old & young, fathers & sons, husbands & wives, entire families, etc.) signing the new baptistery. BTW, Chris Chandler did an excellent job building it. Thanks Chris!
Every single person that has been baptized at Graystone is significant to me, but there are two that hold a very special place in my heart (see pictures below).
"Go Tell It"... This is my new favorite song. I love the lines, "He (Jesus) saved your life...He came through for you right in the nick of time...He's the best thing that's happened to you." I loved hearing Kyle belt it out.
Video testimonies of why people are giving to the building fund..."We give so we can DOMINATE our Community with the love of Jesus."..."It is a joy to give and be a part of fulfilling God's purpose."..."We give because Graystone has impacted our family."..."It is an investment in the future of our kids and grandkids."..."We give out of obedience to Jesus Christ."...WOW!!!
Seeing dozens of people (who were locked out of the service because they were late) pour into the auditorium during the greet one another. Hopefully, more people will get to the services ON TIME and not miss the first song. It is usually one of the best.
The massive power outage during the 11:00 service threw me off for a few minutes. I thought someone might be wanting to go ahead and collect the 2.1 million dollar life insurance policy.
Heath's welcome/announcement video took EXCELLENCE to a hole nutha level.
I am looking forward to seeing how GOD WILL PROVIDE well over $400,000 through the sacrifice and faithfulness of the family of faith at Graystone.
Let's build God's house!
