I have received some recent attacks and criticism. I was going to do a little "Blog Rant", but after working out and praying, I have decided to take the high road. If you have a problem with me, my blog or Graystone Church. Then, please forgive me. I am sorry, but I am going to write, say and do whatever God leads me to do. If you know the Johnny of Johnny's Blog at all, you know that "what you see is what you get". I do not wear a mask or do anything fake or phony. I am the same on Sunday mornings as I am on Tuesday night at the ball field...whether you like me or not.
Please pray for me. I am trying not to let the attacks distract me from all that God is doing in and through Graystone Church. I cannot wait for Sunday. We, the staff team, are trusting God for over 100 professions of faith through baptism.

I'd like to add to the criticism. You have a really ugly jump shot. Anyone who has seen can't believe you score as much as you do (did) :) Keep the faith. Keep blogging.
I absolutely love your blogs and love the fact that they are the real you! Keep them coming...
the basis for most criticism is insecurity, fear. I think your Church is great and so do 700 other people. Keep following Gods direction and he will continue to to bless you. There will always be oposition. Hey even Jesus had naysayers, most of them were extrememly religious as well!
I read your blog daily & really enjoy it. My husband and I attend Graystone as well. We're new-ish. We actually met you for the first time last Sunday. We've attended Graystone off and on for a year & a half now. We made a commitment to make it every Sunday and this will be our 5th Sunday in a row coming up. Bottom line...we appreciate you and what you do. God will deal w/the angry attackers ;-) so you just keep on keepin' on...you're helping change lives.

I love your blogs and read them quite often. You seem very real and true to yourself and others. That is VERY important to me so, I, for one THANK YOU for it. I think the criticism is jealousy or envy. Sometimes it's simple pot-stirring. My daughter and I come to Graystone - newcomers - and we are very happy. Stay just the same!!!!!! If you do change, then the griping will really start up!

I love your blog and Graystone church. I read your blog because it reminds me that you really are YOU...a regular guy who loves Jesus Christ and has a gift for sharing The Word. Please don't change a thing!
I just wanted to let you know I do enjoy your blog and keep up with it. Graystone is amazing and I have attended all Sunday's since March 1st. I agree- you are changing lives.
