Glory to God!

Yesterday morning, we devoted both worship experiences (services) @ Graystone to our Baptism Celebration. When it was all said and done, 90 people CRASHED the waters of baptism making public professions of their faith/love/commitment to Jesus Christ. Glory to God! This is the most people that I have ever PERSONALLY witnessed getting baptized at one time.

Here are a few things that stood out to me:

*Entire families getting baptized together

*All the families and kids getting baptized that we have met through school and sports

*The personal joy and honor of baptizing men from my small group...the band of brothers

*The loud celebration and applause was very powerful as each person was introduced and as each person came up out of the water.

*Seeing ALL the family members and friends STANDING PROUDLY as their loved one was getting baptized...too cool.

*It truly is about THE ONE.

*All the people who responded in immediate obedience to spontaneous baptism

*ALL THE TEENAGERS GETTING BAPTIZED AND TAKING A STAND FOR JESUS CHRIST! Look out Archer HS, Grayson HS, Bay Creek MS, McConnell MS, Couch MS and any other school that one of these kids attends. God is going to use these kids to DOMINATE their schools with the love of Jesus Christ. Keep up the good work Dustin and all those involved with GSM.

Let's keep BEING THE CHURCH in our community!

Watching all those people get baptized yesterday was amazing. I have never witnessed anything like that before. It reminded me of the way I've seen God work in 3rd world countries. The next time I hear someone ask why God doesn't do miracles here in America, I am going to tell them to come to Graystone Church. A changed life is the greatest miracle of all.
