I am enjoying our "Summer Reading Plan" as several men in our church are reading Steve Farrar's book, Finishing Strong. In chapter four, Steve parallels the shipwreck of the Titanic with King David's sin with Bathsheba.
Steve writes....
"Sin can shipwreck your life. Throughout the Bible, there are three inescapable principles concerning sin.
Just like shipwrecks,
- sin will take you farther than you want to go;
- sin will keep you longer than you wanted to stay;
- sin will cost you more than you wanted to pay."
