Mark Hanley did a great job speaking at Graystone today. In application to his message on Shamgar, pick one area of your life (family, work, finances, spiritual growth, health, etc.), and ask yourself, where am I?
Secondly, what do you have to use (I.e. Shamgar had a farm and an oxgoad)?
Lastly, what does God want you to do? In the words of Andy Dufrense from Shawshank Redemption, "It's time to get busy living or get busy dying."
BTW, Mark is a much better public speaker than he is at riding a skimboard. Check out these videos of Mark and I while we were at the beach this summer:
