Sunday Night Uncensored

Echoing Angels rocked the house today. Great worship! I love their sound. I love their energy. A humble group of guys...very refreshing.

Jennifer did a great job sharing her story (I.e. testimony). Several people said that she looked HOT in the green dress. I thought so. How about Kaleigh from Shorecrest Circle facebooking Jennifer that she committed her life to Jesus Christ. Too cool!

I loved hearing Lily McDaniel share about Kid's Camp and the decision that she made to get back on track. I remember when that girl was born. Wow! She was very courageous to speak on stage in front of so many people. I am trusting God to do big things through that girl's life.

Kid's Camp was cool. Several kids made decisions to follow Christ and ALL of them had fun and took spiritual steps. The volunteers were awesome and earned a few crowns in heaven. Thank you Bree, Brandi, Jenny, and Dale. Dustin is the man...rocking (second time I used a form of the word, Rock...that was #3) back to back camps. My appreciation for him grew a ton this week.

Great prayer time at the end of the service today. I saw tons of people doing business with God. I love to see husbands and wives praying together.

There were 18 first and second time visitor cards turned in today. God is up to something BIG.

"Streets of Gold" was the perfect song to close out the service as Beckie Sutton is heavy on many people's hearts.

I've been preparing today and tonight for tomorrow's Celebration of Life Service. I am praying that Beckie's life will be honored and God will be glorified. It should be a beautiful service with her kids participating through song and sharing. Heath is going the extra mile behind the scenes (as he does week in and week out).

I got turned off by the ESPY's a little while ago as Samuel L. Jackson was dropping bleeped out f bombs. Unnecessary and not funny...although Eugene Levy is one of the funniest guys on the planet. He might be a close 2nd to Will Ferrell.

Jennifer did a great job leading Kid's Camp. Dustin served on back to back camps and preached a sermon in the middle. But Donna Rector gets the Staff of the Week Award for taking care of our baby, Jessie, all week. Donna, through your service, 39 Graystone kids were impacted for Jesus Christ! And you gained some valuable experience for being a grandma.

It doesn't look like I am going to make my Big 40 birthday weigh in tomorrow...unless God does a miracle while I sleep. We will see...

I'm out. Jennifer just called my cell phone from the home phone telling me that a smoke alarm is beeping. Handyman Howes to the rescue.
