Are you a graystoner?

My definition of a "graystoner" is a member of Graystone Church who is passionate about knowing God and making God known.

A graystoner is someone who:
1. gathers for worship (Psalm 116:14; Psalm 122:1, Hebrews 10:24-25)
2. grows through small group discipleship (2 Timothy 2:2; 1 Thess 2:8)
3. gives God his/her time, talents and tithe (Matt 25:14-30; Malachi 3:8-10)
4. goes and makes disciples (Matthew 28:18-20)

Are you a graystoner? If not, what is holding you back?

PS Check back tomorrow for the first edition of my new weekly segment: Friday Favs. You will not be disappointed.

I had to go a funeral(homegoing)this week for a friend's father. Cecil was as passionate with his relationship with the Lord as any man i have known. But, here is my point...as any believer would do Cecil wanted the pastor(one of his good frieds and golfing buddies) to give an invitation at his funeral service. As the pastor went on through the service it was about second chances; or to put in Cecil's terms mulligans God gives us in life and how Cecil didn't want anybody in this room to run out of mulligans before they have developed a relatonship with the Lord. When i saw your topic for this Sunday i told myself I worship a truly amazing and forgiving God that knows what i need and when i need it!!

I have not sent anything before but, i just you might enjoy.

Seeking Him
