Monday Morning Download

Great service yesterday! Loved "Never Let Go". Heath did a great job with the visuals. 16 year old kid swinging the sticks. Great job Sam! Kenny Rogers testimony blew me away. Tearjerker. I love Kenny. God truly is a God of second chances. I am thankful for the cross of Christ. Enjoyed the Lord's Supper with the band leading us in "Amazing Grace". It doesn't get any better than that. Candace can tickle the keys. I thought Melinda's "What's going on at Graystone?" video was very professional. She may have a future in broadcasting. I'm sure we will post this video somewhere on the net. All in all, a great Sunday of worship.

Grayson game in the DOME was a blast. Big win over the defending state champions, Camden County. Looks to be a very promising season for the Rams. Consumed way too much grease at The Varsity, but it was worth it.

GSM update: 60 high schoolers on Wednesday night and 60 middle schoolers on Sunday night. PRAISE GOD! Graystone Student Ministry has almost doubled overnight. I think Dustin is still looking for volunteers. You basically just need to love Jesus and love kids. I think that qualifies you as long as your face is not popping up on America's Most Wanted.

Building Update: the interior sheet rock walls went up last week. They are still hanging ac ducts. Some are big enough for me to crawl through. I believe the parking lot curb is being poured this week and the EIFS (stucko) is being applied to the outside of the building. I will post some pics later this week. I have some neat aerial photos as well.

One more week of Jonah. I'm surprised the fish in the tanks are doing so well. If you have not read Jonah 4, you need to. It's a strange passage.

Also, this Sunday, I will be making a HUGE announcement about Graystone's Children's Ministry. I will update tomorrow on our ALL IN status...Can't wait to see "our number".

This has been a great series of messages. Last Sunday was the best, Kenny Roger's testimony touched my heart in a very personal way. I just love that God is a God of second chances, because we all need to know that he forgives and forgives and forgives us. The excitement about our new building is overwhelming and am trusting that He will provide all that we need in money and support.
Love from eye know who
