Friday Favs: Graystone Music

As most of you know, "Kyle and the Band" do an incredible job with the music at Graystone. Here are some of my favorite songs played at Graystone:

My Top 5 Feature Songs

1. Magnificent (U2)
2. You Found Me (The Fray)
3. *Boondocks (Little Big Town)
4. Meant to Live (Switchfoot)
5. Crashed (Daughtry)
5. Use Somebody (Kings of Leon)...not quite in my top 5 but loved Wade's testimony and how it fit into the message series, USE ME.

* I had to get one country song in there.

My Top 5 Worship Songs

2. Go Tell It (Lee McDerment)
3. Never Let Go (Dave Crowder Band)
4. It is Well
1. O Praise Him (Dave Crowder Band)
5. Jesus Paid It All (Kristian Stanfill)

BTW, there is a big debate over what makes a song Christian or non-Christian. So, I have purposefully stayed away for this terminology.

My Top 5 Songs that have NOT been played at Graystone

1. Washed by the Water (Needtobreathe)
2. Alive (P.O.D)
3. Praise Song (Third Day)
4. Our Love is Loud (Dave Crowder Band)
5. The World I Know (Collective Soul)
5. Sweet Child of Mine (A GNR song is not really in my top 5, but I think the intro would be great to play at Graystone.)

What are your favorite songs played at Graystone?

Well, we haven't been there long, but here are my favs so far:

All Because of Jesus I'm Alive (Fee)
Hosanna (Fraser/Hillsong)
Happy Day (My youngest son's fav, I love to see his eyes light up when this song is played.)
Everything Glorious (Crowder)
From the Inside Out (Hillsong)

Shoot! I love everything they do! Can't wait to hear and worship more with them.

Check number 4 on your 'songs not played yet'...I've done that one at least 27 times.
