Dustin did a great job preaching on Sunday...even with the old school hand held mic. Long story short, immediately before the 9:30 service, Dustin somehow broke the countryman (Brittany Spears-like) wireless mic while going to the bathroom. LOL.
Attendance was VERY LOW on Sunday. I hope it was because folks were out of town for Labor Day Weekend and not because the Georgia Bulldogs lost. Attendance is noticeably down on Sundays after UGA loses...just an observation.
I stayed up til 2AM watching LSU Sat night/Sunday am. The Bayou Bengals did not look great. The defense has not improved from last year. Looks like the Tigers will have an average season and win a mid-level bowl game over a weak ACC or Big 10 team...just an early season prediction. But for personal bias, I am keeping them is my power 5 rankings.
The MS Mullets kick their fantasy football season off this weekend. If you have not heard, this is the year of the MULLET!

We began a new series last Sunday, Use Me. If you want to read ahead, I will be sharing from Philippians 1:12-30.
At the building this week: finishing EFIS (Stucko), paint and stone on exterior, finishing framing of the main stage, installation of data and phone lines (a big THANK YOU goes out to Kevin Ayers for getting all the equipment and labor donated for this), ATT is still moving the telephone pole so we can install the storm drains...FINALLY, and I think the drop ceiling is going in the children's area. Also, we may be installing windows and doors, but I am not sure if they are being delivered this week. I will keep you posted.
What is our number? $147,066 needed to finish the building.
