We are a TBall Church.

I shared at Graystone yesterday that the prize of the Christian life is coming home to eternity in heaven. I used the metaphor of baseball and explained the differences between pony league baseball and TBall. The older the players get (pony, high school, college and the Big Leagues...MLB) the fewer the players make it, because of greater skills required.

Well, Graystone is not a "Big League" Church. We are not a church full of professional Christians. You do not have to be able to throw a 95 mph fastball or hit a curve ball (although many are thrown our way every day), to be able to serve at Graystone. No, Graystone is a TBall Church. Everyone gets to play the field. Everyone gets to hit. Everyone gets to score. And the goal is not only will we come home to the applause of heaven, but we will be hitting home runs right and left and bringing many other people home with us. The goal is to win the game, and the playing field is the world.

Let's DOMINATE our community with the love of Jesus Christ!
Johnny
