Staff Christmas Books

Last Saturday night, we had our Graystone Leadership Team Christmas Party at the beautiful home of Adam and Jennifer Wilson. This is an annual tradition for the staff, elders and our families to get together to celebrate ALL that God has done in and through Graystone Church. The evening was full of fun, food and fellowship.

This year, I decided to give each leadership team member a book. Instead of purchasing new books, I surveyed my personal library and choose a book that I thought was appropriate for each Graystone staff member and elder. When I gave each person his/her book, I explained the reason why. Here is a list of the books that I gave each staff/elder. I will leave it up to you to determine the "why":

Jim Hollandsworth...A Biblical Theology of Missions
Kyle Hale...Worship is a Verb
Dustin Mattox...Extraordinary Leadership
Donna Rector...Church Administration Handbook
Jennifer Howes...Intimate Encounters
Mark and Kellee Hanley...The Four Hour Work Week
Dale Rector...A Mind for Missions
Terry Jackson...More Than a Carpenter
Katie Landress...Mad Church Disease
Adam Wilson...The Wealth Conundrum
Heath Hollandsworth...I Gave Dating a Chance

I had one last book, "Before You Build...What Every Church Should Know Before Building a Building". Well, I spontaneously threw this one in Adam and Jennifer's fireplace. God is good!

I think the most interesting and perplexing gift was what Jonathan gave to Jennifer. He didn't have to do that, the book was already in the house.
