It took many heroes to pull off our first Sunday in the new building, but this week's volunteer heroes award goes to (drum roll, please): THE PARKING TEAM! With our overflow parking incomplete, I'm still not sure how we got over 1100 people onto Graystone's new property for our two morning services. Standing out in the coldest Sunday morning of the year to direct traffic, the parking team did an amazing job. To my knowledge, there were no wrecks, and EVERYONE made it on and off the property safely.
After the services Sunday, I told our volunteer Parking Team Leaders, "Whatever we are paying you, DOUBLE IT!". Thanks guys for serving God and Graystone Church. You are Week 1's Volunteer Heroes!
