Little Shop of Horrors

Our family is on the Gulf Coast swing of our Christmas holidays. We spent the night at my brother Jason's house last night in Mobile, Alabama. Joelan had the time of his life playing with his two boy cousins, Jackson (8) and Wilkes (6). They have the sweetest media room that you have ever seen with HDTV, surround sound, a 100+ inch screen and Play Station 3. Joelan was in heaven and I think is now addicted to Guitar Hero.

We have spent this morning at my brother's dentist office, Little Shop of Horrors. Once a year, my little brother likes to get me in his chair and repay me for all the pain I caused him when we were growing up. Today, he gave me two shots and six (6) fillings. He also tried a few new procedures on me. He likes to use me as a guinea pig because I'm not a paying customer and he knows that I won't sue...I'm a Christian and his big bro. I really didn't feel too much pain because I was flying like a kite on Novocain. This is my one time a year to "get high". Joelan is in Uncle Jason's chair right now getting four (4) baby teeth pulled that our hanging on by strings. Poor Julia, had 4 shots and 4 baby teeth (roots and all) pulled that were not even loose. This was done in preparation for her braces that she will be getting in a couple of months. Both the kids are walking around dizzy, with swollen mouths and will be cashing in big time from the tooth fairy.

Well, all joking aside, I owe my little bro big time for taking care of our family's dental needs. I am about to take he and his family to lunch. We need to go to a restaurant where Julia, Joelan and myself can get a milkshake. We are off this afternoon to visit my parents for Christmas in Gulfport, MS.
