Here are some quick highlights from an incredible Easter weekend:
Cohen Nash Hale born at 8:04 PM on March 22ND...6 lbs 15 oz, 20 in. long.
755 people in attendance at Graystone Church...PRAISE GOD!
5 people committed their lives to Jesus Christ
130 people came to the inaugural 5 PM Service...A special thank you and shout out to everyone who came to 5PM to create space for Sunday morning. I'm not sure how many more people we could have squeezed into the 9:30 service.
Deviled Eggs...I'm not sure how many I ate.
Dustin stepping up and leading worship in Kyle's absence. Not only is Dustin an incredible youth pastor but he has a "can do attitude". I really appreciate his heart. The music was awesome. I especially enjoyed "Jesus Paid it All" and "Amazing Grace".
I want to also thank the band for playing all three services. We have some incredible volunteers. In fact, over 75% of the adults at Graystone Church are serving in some capacity.
Luke 24:5-6... this is one of my favorite Bible verses and you will probably hear me quote it every Easter.
Sunday Night Fellowship- I really enjoyed the hang out time after the 5 PM service. It was great to fellowship and get to know other Graystonians over pizza and a fudge bar.
It was neat for me to see Julia, my 8 year old daughter, worshiping in the 5 PM service. She sat on the front row, sang her heart out and took a page of notes during my sermon. She also answered (out loud) some of my rhetorical questions which threw me off my game a little bit.
Hell's Bells...I'm not an AC/DC fan but playing "Hell's Bells" at the end of the service with all the statistics and Bible verses about Hell really got me excited to study and prepare for Next Week's Message: Would a loving God REALLY send someone to Hell?
