As many of you know, Brian Lane and his family, have moved back to the United States. The Lanes served as missionaries for 9 years in Belo Horizonte, Brazil with Campus Outreach. Brian has recently taken a position with The Fellowship of Christian Athletes and will serve as the Director of Football for Gwinnett County. Brian will be full-time with FCA and will function on staff with Graystone Church. In order to be as connected to Graystone as possible, Brian and Candace have purchased a house in the Grayson High School District. So, here's the deal. Brian, Candace and their three kids have been living in another country for the last 9 years and are basically starting over here in the US. I think each person in the family has a bed, but they basically need everything else to furnish their house. Seriously, they literally need everything but the kitchen sink. So, if you have any old (or new) furniture or household items that you would like to donate, it would be greatly appreciated. Some of the items needed are a refrigerator, a vehicle (I know it's not a household item, but they need one.), washer and dryer, kitchen table and chairs, couch, silverware, a grill, kid's dresser, etc. Gift cards to Target, Lowe's, and/or Home Depot would be great housewarming gifts!
Hey, this family has made a huge sacrifice for Christ. They are now becoming a BIG PART of the Graystone family, and we need to help them start this new chapter of their lives. Lord willing, they will be moving into their new home around July 20 (my birthday BTW). So, if you have any items to donate (and no junk please), send an email to Graystone's Missions Pastor, Jim Hollandsworth, at jim@graystonechurch.com. Let's see how God can use the body of Christ, His church, provide for the needs of this deserving family.
THANK YOU!
Johnny
