Summary
God has chosen the poor of this world to be rich in faith and heirs of the kingdom.

Principles
1. God has chosen (Romans 8:29) to use the weak and foolish (1 Cor 1:26-29).
2. Blessed are the poor in spirit for they shall receive salvation in heaven (Matthew 5:3).
3. The rich is faith are sure of what we hope for and certain of what we do not see (Hebrews 11:1).
4. Those chosen by God are his children (John 1:12) and heirs of the kingdom of heaven (Matthew 3:2).
5. The kingdom of heaven lives NOW in believer's hearts (Luke 17:21) and will one day be established in a literal earthly kingdom (Rev. 20:4-6).

Application
As followers of Jesus Christ, we are to seek first His kingdom and His righteousness (Matthew 6:33).
