Fishing with Foxworthy

Brain Lane (FCA) and I had a strategic meeting today with Jeff Olivo (Graystone member and Physical Therapist), Chuck Scott (Gwinnett Director of Young Life), Tom Bender (X-Factor Sports), and Patrick Jackson (Never Fear Competition). I shared Graystone's vision for building "Graystone Park and Community Center" to dominate our community with the love of Jesus Christ. We discussed ways that we can partner together to reach kids, coaches and their families for Christ through sports. The potential of what could happen in our community for Christ by working together with these like-minded men is unlimited. We are not sure what the future holds, but Chuck did say that he would take Brian and I bass fishing with Jeff Foxworthy. God is on the verge of doing something BIG, and I am excited to be a part of it!

On a personal note, my brother, sister-in-law, their two boys, and beagle hound (Copper) just rolled into town from Alabama. Watch out Wildwood.

God is good!
Johnny

PS I'm trying to decide if I am more excited about watching the Summer Olympics or the Little League World Series. Are the Braves still playing? Boy, am I sick and tired of the Favre soap opera. I can't believe that he is a Jet. I'm counting the days until the GFFL draft. I'm extremely confident that it will be another year of MS Mullets dominance. Oh, I will be justifying my competitiveness this Sunday. The second point in my sermon is: Jesus is competitive.
