Loved Yesterday's Service

Good morning boys and girls...yes, it's Monday. Just wanted to throw out some LOVE from another great Sunday:

We kicked off our new Vantage Point series. Loved the gobo lights with red gels.

Great worship set...I loved the old Third Day song, Thief. Kyle and the band nailed it. How about Candace on the keys? Talk about someone using her gifts and abilities to serve God. And Heath laid down some great visuals/videos as usual.

I absolutely loved the 3 knuckleheads in the homemade LS Who? T-shirts. Hey, if I can dish it out, I can take it. And Michael Russell does resemble Joe the Plumber. BTW, LSU stinks!

"Good luck with that one"-- this was my side note comment in regards to someone hoping for a better pastor. Apparently, this comment was taken the wrong way. Seriously, I was just joking around. Chill out people. God is good!

I loved seeing so many new faces and visitors at Graystone. It might just be me but our crowd seems to be getting older. It must be the music?

Cliff Notes from the sermon: Main passage: Luke 23:32-43
1. Jesus is the hope of the world.
2. The hope of Christ lives in us.
3. God's hope is eternal.

I loved preaching in blue jeans and a T-shirt.

God is good!
Johnny

PS And yes, Jessie and I now have the same haircut.
