TGIF...I'm more tired this week than normal. Not sure why? Joelan's team finished up Fall Ball on Monday night, and Julia has one more game tomorrow, if she decides to play on the broken leg. My ALTA Tennis Team is playing in the playoffs in the morning at Terrell Mill (Marietta).
We've decided to stay home tonight from the Grayson High School Football Game. The weather is bad, and we are playing Meadowcreek. I guess you could literally call us "fair weather fans". We are going to stay home as a family, make homemade pizza, and carve a pumpkin (I might post a picture depending on how it turns out).
Several people have asked me to declare who I am pulling for in the big Georgia vs LSU football game on Saturday. I am actually pulling for whoever wins the game. Of course, there will be more people at Graystone on Sunday, if Georgia wins.
Speaking of Sunday, I am really looking forward to our new series, Vantage Point. I have read and studied this passage dozens of times this week and cannot wait to share the perspective of the thief on the cross. Actually, there were two thieves on the crosses, and I'm not saying which one's vantage point I will be sharing. This is a good Sunday (aren't they all) to invite a friend!
God is good!
Johnny
PS: Top 5 Football Games This Weekend
5. MS Mullets vs K-Dawgs (Kevin Ayers)
4. Penn State vs Ohio State
3. Falcons vs Eagles
2. Tennessee vs Alabama
1. Georgia vs LSU (If I was a betting man, I would take Georgia and the 2.5 points.)
