"The Power to Heal" Service

Several people told me that today's service was the "best service" in the history of Graystone Church. There were no "bells and whistles". Today was simply about the church coming together to "be the church" and the fellowship of believers that God has called us to be. I am thankful that I can pastor a church that is not afraid to "be the church". Through His word, God led us to have a special prayer service to pray for those who need healing. And that is what we did. We were obedient to do what God called us to do, and God always honors obedience and those who step out in faith and trust Him.

I was blown away today by the response of our church and the power of unified prayer. I cannot wait to see all that God does through today's service. When God heals people in His timing, HE WILL GET ALL THE GLORY. Hopefully, today was not the end of our prayers of faith, but only the beginning of God leading us to pray better and trust Him more. An important aspect of today's service was for each person to share his or her need, so the church can support and pray for them. I believe that our experience today increased our faith and brought us closer together as a church family.

I would love to hear any of your thoughts and comments about today's service.

I was personnally overwhelmed with God's grace and presence at church today. I was humbled by all that God is doing. This has been a great faith journey for our church.

It was definately a moving service on Sunday. It was moving for me when my daughter walked upfront to the elders to pray about her fight with diabetes. The best part of Sunday, was seeing EVERYONE praying together. One prayer is strong, but when you get an entire church praying together, now that's powerful...Roger Z.
