Lessons in Evangelism (Part 1)

When it comes to evangelism, witnessing, sharing your faith, being a fisher of men/women, there are two "strategies" that we need to implement:

1. Go and Tell (Matthew 28:19-20)

We are simply to GO...across the street, to friend's house, to the ball field, to the Crisis Pregnancy Center, to downtown Atlanta, to an another country, etc. We are to GO and tell people about Jesus. Literally, "as we go" we are to make disciples of all nations.

2. Come and See (John 1:35-42)

We are to bring others to Jesus. We are to invite them to church to "come and see" what Jesus is all about.

For example:
"God has changed my life at Graystone Church. Come and see what it is all about."
"Our kids love Graystone Church. Come and see kids having fun learning the Bible"
"God is up to something big at Graystone Church. Come and see all that He is doing."
"Our pastor is on fire for God. Come and see him burn."
"There are a ton of single available guys at Graystone. Come and see for yourself." (Just kidding with this one.)
