Thursday afternoon, I had the privilege to watch the Archer High School Football Team practice. Head Coach Andy Dyer stopped right in the middle of practice, called all 116 players (mostly freshman and sophomores)into a huddle, and introduced me to the team. He shared with the players and coaches that I had had a huge impact on his life for Jesus Christ. It was very humbling.
I had the opportunity to invest my life into Andy while he was a football player at West Georgia College. Andy has been a spiritual encouragement to me as well, as we have had a Proverbs 27:17 friendship. He is the real deal. With Andy Dyer, Brian Lane and the rest of the football staff, Archer High School Football is going to produce great football players but more importantly, great young men for Jesus Christ.
BTW, Archer High School is the largest high school in the state of Georgia per square foot. And it is only few minutes from Graystone's new location. Do you think God is up to something BIG? I am amazed how God continues to order our steps and orchestrate His perfect plan.
